Hi There!
My name is Sheri and my husband Lou and I live on a little 10 acre spread that we have christened as Country Ranch. We live here with our 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses, 2 llamas, a Zebu, 3 mini donkeys, and a whole lot of lovable feathered friends - pet chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, etc. When you add in the various rescue animals that seem to wander in from time to time, our cup is definitely running over! Our little piece of heaven is nestled at the start of the foothills overlooking the Sacramento Valley. We are above the fog and below the snow, so that makes it perfect as far as I'm concerned.
It also seems to be perfect for the delicious kiwifruit that we grow and harvest in early November. The great climate and ample water meet all the requirements our plants need to produce some of the sweetest kiwifruit you'll ever taste. Most of our crop goes a nearby packing house and from there it's shipped to buyers here and abroad. However, we always save back several rows that we pick and sell ourselves here at the ranch.
